The George Town Fish Fry is a waterside dining area on Great Exuma with several independently operated food venues. Exuma Exclusives describes the cluster just north of central George Town. The Bahamas tourism authority lists both Porgie’s Place and Hasty’s Home Plate at the Fish Fry, confirming that it contains separate businesses. Treat Fish Fry Shacks as an area guide: there is no single shared restaurant menu, telephone, opening schedule or reservation desk.

Porgie’s Place has its own researched profile in the Exuma food directory; the tourism authority also provides a separate listing for Hasty’s Home Plate. Ask your chosen business about seating, takeout and any dietary requirements. For an evening outing, arrange your ride back and agree on a pickup point. Music and gatherings may be part of the atmosphere, but confirm a specific event rather than expecting a nightly program.
