Great Exuma planning can involve the airport, road transport, a water transfer, or a boat excursion depending on the day. Confirm the meeting point and return plan instead of assuming that every attraction is a short drive away.

Use Great Exuma as the road-and-air base

The official Bahamas guide places Exuma International Airport and George Town on Great Exuma, while Little Exuma and the Exuma Cays are separate parts of the chain. That makes Great Exuma a sensible base for arrival and road days, but not proof that a cay excursion or Little Exuma stop is a quick transfer. Map each departure separately, particularly when a flight, ferry, or boat booking is involved.
